Spreading
We use teams to spread the horse manure on our hay fields. This enriches the fields and provides mulch to hold moisture.
Mowing
We raise hay on 40 irrigated acres. The Belgians are used to mow and rake small areas and along the irrigation ditches.
Dragging
Three abreast are used in the spring to drag the fields in preparation for haying season. This breaks up the manure from winter pasture and levels the field.
